Happy New Year!
2019 has arrived, but is there really any difference? Is this January 6th and different to last years January 6th?
New Year’s resolutions usually involve setting unrealistic goals, or just wishing things were different to what they are? Eventually, it becomes about (unintentionally) setting yourself up to fail. Creating another thing to feel a nagging sense of guilt about, and therefore, increasing your levels of stress.
How many times have you set yourself a New Year’s resolution, thinking ‘I will use this opportunity to…’ yet by Valentine’s day you cannot even remember what your resolution was?
So we want to help you this year, with what we think is a simple idea… (More like common sense):
Make a resolution to give yourself a break.
Nothing is wrong. Does anything really need to change?
Give yourself permission to Enjoy; To Explore life. To try something new (we can highly recommend Floatation!)
Have fun. Let go of the ‘shoulds’ and ‘coulds’ and go easy on yourself.
We think you’ll find January much more fun…
Let us know if you agree/how it turns out/if you want to come and try Floatation – we’ve got some great offers this month!
